Each summer, UC Berkeley's Academic Talent Development Program (ATDP) invites curious, motivated students to engage in academically rich coursework in a university-level environment. This is your chance to explore a subject in depth, connect with peers from around the world, and gain meaningful academic experience.
This non-boarding program is structured into two divisions for students completing grades K through 11. The Secondary Division (Grades 7–11) runs for 6 weeks (estimated June 22 – July 31, 2026) with both in-person and remote options. The Elementary Division (Grades K–6) runs for 3 weeks (estimated July 13 – July 31, 2026) and is in-person only. ATDP offers exceptional academic value at a very competitive cost; the estimated program fees ranged from USD 750 to 1,250 in 2025.
